What a sponsorship makes possible
A place in the daycare
Children up to the age of four attend our daycare in Mianzini - with care, early learning and a warm meal every day.
School fees
From the age of five the children attend Kingdom School, a private school in Arusha. The sponsorship covers the school fees.
Uniform & supplies
School uniform, shoes, exercise books and pens are included - without them, attending school in Tanzania is not possible.
Support for the family
Our team on the ground stays in touch with the family, reviews their situation and accompanies the children for years.
Costs & transparency
The sponsorship contribution is €35 a month, i.e. €420 a year. Our team works on a voluntary basis and we keep administrative costs minimal - your contribution arrives directly in Mianzini.

Getting to know each other
We explain the programme and review the family situation of the children on site, so support reaches those who need it most.

Matching a child
You learn the name, age and story of your sponsored child and when they start in the daycare or at school.

Setting up payments
You set up a standing order to our donation account or give monthly via betterplace.org or PayPal.

Receiving updates
Once a year you receive letters and/or photos. You can write any time - we translate and pass your letters on.
