Privacy Policy

When you write to us via the contact form, we process your name, email address, topic, subject and the content of your message in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(a) and (b) GDPR (consent and/or processing of your request).

Messages are transmitted in encrypted form and stored in an access-protected database. Only authorised members of our team with a personal login can view them. We delete enquiries once they have been fully handled and no statutory retention obligations apply - usually after 24 months at the latest.

Our online donation form is provided by gut.org gAG (betterplace.org), Schlesische Str. 26, 10997 Berlin, Germany, and embedded in our site. When you visit the donation page, data is transmitted to betterplace.org (including your IP address). Payment processing, receipts and donation certificates are handled by betterplace.org. The betterplace.org privacy policy applies there.

To manage sponsorships we process the data you provide to us by email (name, address, contact details, payment information) on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR. We do not pass this data on to third parties, except to the bank required to process payments.

When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We link to our profiles on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Data is only transmitted to those providers once you click a link. Their respective privacy policies then apply.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw any consent given at any time. Simply contact takeamalaika@gmx.de. You can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for us (Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information).

If you order products from our sewing and creative project via our order form, we process your name, email address, phone number (optional), delivery address, the items selected and your message in order to process the order, inform you of shipping costs and payment details, and ship the goods. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures).

Order data is transmitted in encrypted form and stored in an access-protected database. Only authorised members of our team with a personal login can view it. Online payment does not take place on this website; you pay by bank transfer or PayPal after we confirm your order. Order data is deleted once the statutory retention periods have expired.
