Handmade in Arusha — every piece one of a kind
Here you will find the beautiful, handmade products from our sewing and creative project. Several times a week the women meet in our project house to craft unique pieces with love and care — each one a little original.
By selling these products, the women receive a fixed monthly income that gives them and their families financial security and new opportunities.
Our special trademark: the little fabric angels that gave our association its name — Malaika means angel. The best part: 100% of the proceeds flow directly back into the project and strengthen the local community.

Your order becomes binding once you receive our confirmation email. Before that, you are under no obligation. Payment is conveniently made by bank transfer or PayPal — you will receive the payment details together with our confirmation.

Shipping, payment and withdrawal
- Shipping and delivery time
- Shipping costs: €3 for small items, €4 for larger parcels. Orders of €50 or more ship free of charge. We ship within Germany, and internationally on request. Delivery time is usually 4—6 days delivery time.
- Payment
- Payment is conveniently made by bank transfer or PayPal — you will receive the payment details together with our confirmation.
- Withdrawal and returns
- You can withdraw from your order within 14 days of receipt without giving reasons. A short email to homeofmalaika@gmail.com is enough. You bear the return shipping costs; we will refund the purchase price once we receive the goods back.
- Tax notice
- Exempt from VAT under §19 UStG (German small business regulation).
