Universal Children's Day

Today, 20th September, Universal Children's Day 🌍, we remember the importance of centring children's rights and needs.

Every child has the right to protection, support, and, above all, education — the key to a better future. Education not only opens up opportunities but also strengthens self-confidence and the ability to make independent decisions.

At Home of Malaika, we offer care for even the youngest children in our own Daycare and provide them with free access to education.

Our goal is not just to provide short-term aid, but to create long-term opportunities. Through our sponsorship project, children have the chance to receive schooling and thus shape their future with self-determination. 📚

Especially in times of growing social and economic inequalities, it is more important than ever to secure access to education and guarantee the protection of children. Universal Children's Day is a moment to pause and remember that together we can all ensure that today's children become the confident adults of tomorrow. 💪🏿💪🏼
