Special Commission for Our Sewing Group

Our sewing group, led by Helen, received a special commission: In August and September 2025, the group produced textile items worth TZS 150,000 for the Mama Malaika Restaurant — everything from table linen to small textile details for the interior design.

For the women in the group, every order of this kind is more than just revenue: It demonstrates how our projects strengthen each other — the sewing group supports the restaurant in its development, while both projects enable women from the neighbourhood to earn their own income.
