Rotary Club Winsen (Luhe) Supports Our Anti-Violence Project with €9,000

We are delighted to announce that the Rotary Club Winsen (Luhe) has supported our anti-violence project with a generous donation of €9,000. This valuable support is a crucial step towards raising awareness of the harmful effects of violence and establishing non-violent parenting methods in Tanzania.
Combating violence against children is one of the most pressing challenges of our time. Violence in any form has serious consequences for the well-being and development of children, can cause long-term physical and psychological damage, and can even form the basis for further acts of violence later in life. It is therefore essential to create awareness of the harmful consequences of violence and to bring about a cultural change.
Our new project, the 'Anti-Violence Programme: Interaction Competencies with Children', focuses on training teachers in Tanzania. The aim is to empower these teachers to implement non-violent solutions in their classrooms.
We are aware that cultural and social norms play a significant role in the emergence and perpetuation of violence. For this reason, it is crucial that our violence prevention measures are culturally sensitive and based on a deep understanding of local conditions. Through close cooperation with a team of local people from Tanzania, we are developing effective and accepted solutions, without appearing as outsiders.
Special thanks go to the Rotary Club Winsen. Without this generous support, the implementation of our project would not have been possible. This funding is invaluable to us in bringing about long-term and sustainable positive changes.
Together with our local partners, we are firmly committed to creating a violence-free future for children in Tanzania and look forward to the upcoming challenges and successes.
