Our Annual Financial Statement FY2025: Income, Expenses, and a Slight Deficit

Transparency is important to us — which is why we also share the figures that aren't exclusively positive. Home of Malaika's audited annual financial statement for FY2025 shows income of TZS 272,029,400 and expenditure of TZS 276,572,273 — a deficit of TZS 4,542,873. In the previous year, FY2024, income was TZS 192,883,100 and expenditure was TZS 193,232,625.

Take a Malaika e.V. in Germany also recorded a slight deficit and hardly any reserves in 2025, with a financial volume of approximately €90,400. We are working to itemise our projects even more precisely in the future to report with even greater transparency.
